I worked for years with Analog Art, building a boundless creativity, until I encountered Digital Art and curiously discovered the power of the Pixel. Alvy Ray Smith, co-founder of Pixar, stated that a Pixel is not a little colored square, it is pure mathematics, a point, a calculation. In that moment I realized I was simply using new tools and new kinds of color. Leonardo da Vinci teaches us that Art and Mathematics are the same thing, even in the Renaissance. Frida Kahlo transformed the pain of the body into universal art, and Artemisia Gentileschi wrote: “I will show Your Illustrious Lordship what a woman can do. The works will speak for themselves.”
